Savida Dobermans
Located in Northeast Ohio Located in Northeast Ohio We here at Savida Dobermans are looking for the forever home, not just a home right now. So for us placement is crucial, when we place a puppy, our goal is to ensure the most proper fit for each individual puppy and their new homes. The process here at Savida Dobermans for placing a puppy, is to get to know each potential owner via emails, phone conversations and when possible face to face meetings. This gives us a better idea of what puppy will fit best in that home. It also allows us to better understand the goals and aspiration each new owner has for their puppy, as well as allowing us to discuss the terms of purchase, contract and how we will support a new owner. We feel that the Doberman breed is not a breed for everyone, lifestyle or home. Therefore if we "deny" you, it may not be "you" personally, it just may mean that we may not have a puppy that fits into your lifestyle/ criteria of what you're wanting from your new puppy. If this happens, we are more than willing to refer you to a different breeder or even a more suitable breed that would better fit your needs. All Savida puppies are sold on a Pet, Show or Working contract. All Savida puppies are sold cropped, docked and dews removed. All Savida puppies are held on a $500.00 non-refundable deposit. Once your deposit is in, your name is added to our waiting list and a spot is held for you in that litter. If it should happen that during the selection process, we find that there is not a puppy that we feel would best fit your wants and needs (i.e. Color, sex, and pet/show/working criteria); at that time we would discus transferring your non-refundable deposit to another litter at a later time. If you should "back out" from further buying a Savida puppy at any time, no monies will ever be refunded or transferred, except at our (Savida Dobermans) discretion. No puppy will ever be held without a deposit. Puppies placed as Pet "Companion" puppies, will always be sold on a mandatory spayed/ neutered contract to be carried out by the new owner(s) and are placed with LIMITED AKC registration. A limited registration only limits the dog from conformation events and breeding. However we strongly encourage/ recommend at least basic obedience training for all of our dogs. The Doberman is a working breed and we feel they are happiest when they have a "job" to do with/for their owner(s). NONE, all Pet "Companion" puppies are sold on a LIMITED registration only and a spay/neuter contract. Meaning, ALL Pet "Companion" puppies can never be bred or shown in AKC conformational venues and MUST be spay/neutered, no exceptions, so please don't ask. Puppies placed as Show puppies are sold on full registration and an AKC show contract. Meaning you as the buyer agrees to show said puppy to the best of your ability (i.e. Hire a professional handler if you yourself cannot achieve points, majors or an AKC Championship on said dog.). That you, agree to do your best, to finish said puppy to the completion of its AKC Championship. That if you so choose to use a professional handler, you agree to let us help in finding one that we ourselves trust to take care of said puppy for the best interest of said puppy. We however do not guarantee that said puppy will obtain its AKC Championship title. We do guarantee against any disqualifying faults at the time of sale. We also co-own each puppy until the completion of its AKC Championship and or our discretion, to ensure each contract is carried out as agreed upon by both seller and buyer. This depends on each buyer(s), some choose to show and never breed and some choose to show and then breed. Each stipulation will be outlined in each buyer's personal AKC show contract. No matter the stipulations for each buyer(s), said dog must first pass ALL the required health testing set forth by us and also achieve its AKC Championship title. At which time breeding rights will be available to the buyer(s). Furthermore a breeding Addendum will be added to "new to the breed" buyers or "new to breeding" buyers wherein said buyer shall not breed without consulting us first, for a set amount of time. This is to ensure you're on the right track and you're breeding to better our lines and not hurt them. There will be absolutely no WZ or Albino breedings to any Savida Doberman puppies whatsoever, as we do not condone or support the breeding to, the selling of, or reproduction of WZ and or Albino Dobermans. Puppies placed as Working puppies are sold on Limited registration and a Working contract. Meaning you as the buyer agrees to participate in working venues with said puppy to the best of your ability. That you, agree to do your best, to finish said puppy to the completion of its Working titles. We however do not guarantee that said puppy will obtain any Working titles. We also co-own each puppy until the completion of its Working titles and or our discretion, to ensure each contract is carried out as agreed upon by both seller and buyer. Each Working contract is outlined and or modified to fit the criteria of both the buyer(s) and seller. Breeding Rights on Working puppies are at the discretion of the Seller, depending on what has been achieved by said dog and the goals and aspirations of the buyer will determine breeding rights on said dog. No matter the stipulations for each buyer(s), said dog must first pass ALL the required health testing set forth by us and also achieve no less than three (3) working titles of which two (2) have to be in AKC venues, the 3rd can be in some type of service, the French ring, etc.. At which time breeding rights will be available to the buyer(s) at the discretion of the seller. Furthermore a breeding Addendum will be added to "new to the breed" buyers or "new to breeding" buyers wherein said buyer shall not breed without consulting us first for a set amount of time.
